My home is situated around the south of downtown. It is around 15 minutes drive and 20 minutes by bus. There is a bus stop just around the corner from my home which is about 5 minutes walking distance. There are several buses that will take you to various places of the city that arrive on time and frequently. It is a nice area of Auckland and a central location with One Tree Hill Domain within walking distance.

Everything was excellent. Very kind host. Very helpful. Perfect room, clean and tidy. The house is a cottage which is situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood, only 15 min by train to the city. 5 minutes walk to the park where One Tree Hill is located (going up the hill is approx a 4km walk). From this hill you have a perfect view over Auckland with the Sky tower. Beautiful trees. Supermarket and other facilities are at walking distance (15 min) Approx 20 min. from the airport. Absolutely worth to try.
