Looking for an awesome place to live while studying in Vancouver? You've come to the right place. We'd love to host you in our beautiful home.


We're a fun, easy going, friendly family of four. Three out of four of us were born in Vancouver and we only speak English at home. We'd love to interact with you and learn about your culture. We have been hosting since June 2014 and have met so many wonderful people, love learning about their cultures and teaching them about Canadian culture.



My husband is a great cook! We offer quality meals....not cheap or frozen microwave meals, and/or we don't feed you separate food like some homestay families! We eat dinner together and take time to interact and speak with our students. We treat you like family.



Our home is smoke and pet free. Our rooms are on the ground level with a large window and are furnished with a twin/single bed, night table, desk, dresser and closet for clothes. We offer two shared washrooms. If you'd like a private washroom that can be arranged for an additional fee.



We have a large backyard and and have a garden where we invite you to help grow some of our food!



MEALS included: self serve breakfast, lunch on weekends and dinner. Please inquire if you need weekday lunches

INCLUDED at no additional cost: high speed wifi access, laundry once a week

So far we've hosted students from India, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Korean, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Ghana, Chile and Mexico, ranging from 10-65 years old!

We can host up to 3 **NON SMOKING** female students (18 years old or older).

TRANSIT:
Convenient location and easy transit. It's a 5 minute walk to Sperling skytrain station or 1 minute walk to the bus that takes you to skytrain or SFU/FIC.

By Transit: 25 min to downtown, 17 min to Simon Fraser University (SFU) or Fraser International College (FIC), 20 min to British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) & 28 min to Douglas College (New Westminster Campus).

There are several malls accessible along the Skytrain Route (Brentwood, Lougheed, Metrotown, Crystal Mall & Pacific Centre).

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Price includes self serve breakfast and dinner with lunch on the weekends (sorry unable to indicate this in my listing). Can provide lunch during the week for additional fee.

We typically do longer term stays of 6 months or more. We may consider doing short term stays depending on availability, but a $100 cleaning fee may apply. Please inquire.
