Our names are Sue and Stuart and we live in a quiet suburb of London, but with great transport links we are only 30 mins from the centre of London. The underground station is a 10 minute bus ride away...

Our names are Sue and Stuart and we live in a quiet suburb of London, but with great transport links we are only 30 mins from the centre of London. The underground station is a 10 minute bus ride away!
The house was built in the 1930s, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are available for guests to book. The bedrooms available to guests are a room with a double bed and the second room is a twin bedded room. There is a bathroom which has a separate shower and bath (It's our pride and joy!). There is also an additional toilet on the ground floor.
There is a quiet sitting room at the front of the house which guests are welcome to use and a large open plan area at the back of the house which includes the kitchen, dining and another tv sitting area. We have a lovely garden, which backs onto the beautiful Cherry Woods. There is also a decking area where we can eat outside, which we try to use as often as we can (weather permitting!)
Stuart loves cooking and will try to make you feel at home by finding out what you like and making it! We eat lots of fish, but if there is anything you want to eat we will try our best to get it for you! Guests are also invited to our special breakfast on a Sunday (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, tomatoes and as much toast as you can eat!)
We have two lovely black cats and we ask guests if they don't want a sleeping partner just to shut their door!
We enjoy meeting guests and finding out all about you and your culture and of course making sure you enjoy your stay in London!

Our home is in a quiet residential area on the borders of London. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and takes 5 minutes to get to Morden where there is an underground station and buses to Sutton, Mitcham, Putney and Brixton. The other bus goes to Wimbledon where there is a train station with trains going into Waterloo, Richmond, Kingston and Dorking. There is also a underground station. Wimbledon is quite busy With good shopping, a theatre, cinema and bars.

Staying this house was comfortable so I could relax everytime. Sue and Stuart are friendly and nice!! They always cared about me.
Also every meal was so delicious. Dinner time was one of my pleasure of the day.
You can enjoy British and vegetarian menu.
Stuart is the best chef!
Moreover, they often recommended me some great place in London. If you are interested in Afternoontea, you should ask Sue:)
There are 2 sweet cats in the house. I often enjoyed playing with them.
If you find home staying, I really recommend you this house!!

I've spend the last four month at Sue's lovely place and can honestly say that it has the best host family experience of my life. Sue and Stuart are two of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever met and made my exchange semester in London an unforgettable experience. The rooms were really nice, comfortable and big and offered everything I needed. Furthermore, I was really surprised that I did not find London's best food in a fancy restaurant but at this lovely homestay as Stuart is one of the best chefs! Every evening I was invited to dine with the family and get a taste of his delicious vegetarian international cuisine. (Best curry ever!)
They also introduced me to the British way of life and I already miss the special breakfast on Sunday and the interesting conversations.
I would definitely come back and can only recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable stay in London.

My stay at Sue & Stuart’s was beyond amazing. I stayed there for 6 months, the food is delicious and so are the puddings!
