I'm very happy to meet Mr and Mrs Cha during my stay in Seoul, they are such a sweet and lovely couple. Mr Cha is a very charming and knowledgable man who always offer help when needed and Mrs Cha is a very good chef, no matter what time I got up in the morning, healthy breakfast is already well prepared by her. Located at Gangseo-gu, the place is accessible to all the main attractions by subway or by buses. It just takes 5 mins walk to the subway station. The room is very clean, tidy and well-equipped with all amenities you need which I'd recommend for any stay. During the last day of my stay, Mr & Mrs Cha also invited me for a homemade dinner which made my stay even more unforgettable. Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Cha, I wish to see you both next time when I'm visiting Seoul, please take care! 감사합니다 ^^

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay with Tae Shik and his wife during my visit to Seoul. Their sincere warmth and welcome made me feel right at home the moment I reached their apartment. I enjoyed engaging with them and receiving their great suggestions for places to visit. They were very helpful in other ways too, such as loaning me their umbrella during inclement weather and giving me a ride to neighboring airport bus terminal. Their home is very quiet and calming, and that was what I needed at the end of the day. My Seoul experience is a lot richer due to their hospitality and genuine interest in me as a visitor to their historic, yet very modern city.

Basically If you are going to Seoul and do not stay with these wonderful people you will have missed some of the best hospitality the city has to offer. You simply can not ask for a better experience or more wonderful hosts. As for the 'Nuts-And-Bolts' of the stay. The apartment is well located close to public transportation and high end shopping. The area feels as safe as could possibly be expected of anywhere in the world. The apartment is easy to get to from ICN, just hop on the 6006 bus and ten dollars US and one hour later you will be dropped off within a five minute walk of the apartment. EASY... The apartment was super clean and exactly as advertised. On a scale of one to five stars with five being the highest I give this host a six. Thank you once again Mr. Cha for allowing me to stay with you in your home.

I truly had a wonderful time staying with Mr. Cha and his wife, and I am sure whatever I write here will not do them justice - other guests who have sung their praises have not exaggerated! Mr. and Mrs. Cha are exceptionally welcoming. I enjoyed our chats over breakfast together every morning, as well as the opportunity to go on walks together along the Han river and a nearby hill. I even got to listen to a 50 year old classical violin record on their amazing audio system! Aside from the activities we did together, Mr. and Mrs. Cha were always accessible for help and advice (and in fact went out of their way to help me navigate Namdaemun market in search of a particular item), but still allowed me plenty of privacy. In addition, the room was as described, with everything you could need to be comfortable, and the location quite convenient - thanks to the express trains on line 9, you will be no more than 30-40 minutes away from Gangnam and other trendy areas of Seoul. All in all, I was sad to leave, but grateful to have met such lovely people.

It was an extraordinary pleasure to stay with Mr. and Mrs. Cha. From the very first moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and relaxed in their home. Throughout my stay, I most enjoyed speaking with my hosts at length about an array of subjects (from Korean and American politics to US fast food). I found Mr. and Mrs. Cha to be thoughtful, wise, and kind individuals-- I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know them at length. Mrs. Cha is a fabulous cook! Every one of the generous meals she prepared for me was delicious and greatly appreciated. When it comes to preparing breakfast, you can rest assured you will receive a feast (likely including eggs, sausage, peaches, apples, sandwiches, coffee, and juice.). Her efforts to make sure I was always full went above and beyond! Mr. Cha is an extremely interesting man. I really enjoyed speaking with him about his life experiences and listening to his sage advice. The coolest thing about him, though, may be that he is an audiophile! I had such a fun time listening to vinyl records with him. I don't have enough nice things to say about this family--in fact, I hope to make them my Korean grandparents (할머니 하고 할아버지) and come see them again soon!
