I am a single parent who lives with my son, age 16 and our dog Sasha who is 4, she is an adorable collie-cross and part of our family! I have a Masters in the Arts (with Distinction) and I am a professional arts and cultural manager and I also run an award winning children arts education charity. I have 25 years experience working with children and young people in the arts have been honoured with a Queens Award (MBE for volunteers). I am a qualified Nanny and Foster Carer. I have hosted students from Spain & France since 2015 age 12 - 17. I am available for children and young people within this age range. I can offer one-to-one English lessons, cookery classes, art classes and event management tutoring at an Arts Education Centre I manage, tours of the local area, camping in our VW T5 on the New Forest, access to volunteering at national music festivals, excursions to London and Winchester Cathedral, trips to white sand beaches (seasonal).

We are mindful of the environment and are careful with use of water and electric and waste.
We are a tidy house, you leave it as you find it, clean up after yourself and be respectful of occupants sharing the same space.
Visitors must be pre- arranged and approved for safe guarding purposes (I host under 18s)
You must be prepared to speak conversational English and fully immerse yourself in British culture!
We all mess in and help. No exceptions.

We live in a beautiful place where the Forest meets the Sea. The New Forest is an area of southern England that includes New Forest National Park. The region is known for its heathland, forest trails and native ponies. In the southeast, the National Motor Museum houses F1 race cars and vintage motorbikes. Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway is home to exotic trees, plus colourful rhododendrons and azaleas. Owls, otters and wolves are among the residents of New Forest Wildlife Park. Barton on Sea is a cliff-top village in Hampshire, England. As a settlement, Barton has a history dating back to Anglo-Saxon times. We are walking distance from New Milton train station (2 hours to London), 15 minutes drive to Lymington (for Sailing/Marina and Ferries to The Isle of Wight) and 30 minutes from Southampton Docks/West Quay Shopping Centre. We have a swimming pool/gym on our doorstep and are surrounded by a handful of top class eateries.
