My home is situated in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. It is on a very quiet street with only private detached houses. It is a safe area. There are restaurants, cafes, small markets, and places to buy housewares. Several of the stores are open 24 hours. It is a short walk to the subway and once on the subway it will take about 40 minutes to get to the city center. There are also local and express buses.
